Our Upcoming Events

Plastic Recycling, Waste to Energy, and Recycle Packaging are super important ways to take care of our planet. MSMECCII, which helps small and medium-sized businesses, organizes events to teach people about these things. Let’s break it down: Plastic Recycling: You know those plastic bottles, bags, and containers we use every day? Instead of throwing them away, we can recycle them! Recycling means turning old plastic into new stuff, like toys, clothes, or even new bottles.

Tyre & Rubber Recycling involves the process of repurposing used tyres and rubber products to reduce waste and environmental impact. Techniques include shredding tyres into crumb, transforming them into new products like playground surfaces, or using them as fuel. Recycling helps conserve resources, cuts landfill use, and supports sustainable development practices.

E-waste refurbishment involves repairing and upgrading electronic devices to extend their lifespan. This process includes assessing, repairing, and cleaning components, as well as testing functionality. By refurbishing e-waste, we reduce environmental impact, conserve resources, and make technology more accessible, promoting sustainability and supporting a circular economy.

Green energy, hydrogen, biogas, biofuel, ESG, CSR, and carbon-negative conclave—these might sound like big words, but they’re all about making our world cleaner and healthier. Let’s break them down and see why they’re so important, especially when MSMECCII, a group for small and medium businesses, organizes a conference about them. First off, green energy. This is all about using power sources that don’t harm the environment, like wind, solar, or water energy.

Electrical mobility, battery refurbishment, and recycling are essential parts of making our world cleaner and greener. Let’s break down why they matter and how MSMECCII is making a big difference in these areas. Firstly, electrical mobility means using vehicles that run on electricity instead of gas. These electric vehicles (EVs) don’t emit harmful gases like traditional cars do, so they help keep our air clean and reduce pollution.

Starting a business can be exciting and challenging at the same time. For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), getting off the ground and finding initial funding can be tough. That’s where events like the Start-up Conclave organized by MSMECCII come in. These events bring together new entrepreneurs, experienced businesspeople, and investors to help start-ups get the support they need to succeed. Firstly, let’s talk about what a Start-up Conclave is

Handicrafts, sports gift items, jute, leather, textiles garments, and home furnishing are all very important in our lives. These things make our homes beautiful, help us play sports, and even support our economy. That’s why MSMECCII, which is a group that helps small and medium businesses, organizes conferences to talk about them. Let’s start with handicrafts. These are things that are made by hand, like pottery, jewelry, or artwork. Handicrafts are

The Industries

Plastic Recycling
Plastic recycling is the reprocessing of plastic waste into new and useful products. When performed correctly, this can reduce dependence on landfill, conserve resources and protect the environment from plastic pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
E-Waste Recycling
For the recycling of e-waste, India heavily depends on the unorganized sector as only a handful of organized e-waste recycling facilities are available.
Battery Recycling
Battery recycling is the process of recovering and reusing materials from used batteries, preventing them from being disposed of as waste in landfills. Batteries contain various materials, including metals and chemicals, which can be harmful to the environment if not handled properly.
Non-Ferrous Metal & Scrap Recycling
Non-ferrous metals generally contain little if any iron and mostly come from minerals, sometimes alloyed or refined through a process known as electrolysis. The scrap value of non-ferrous metal is typically higher on a pound-for-pound basis than ferrous metal, which is traded in tons, not pounds.
Aluminium Can Recycling
Aluminium recycling involves three important steps. First, Aluminium products that have been used and thrown away, especially old soda and beer cans, are collected. Second, the cans are soaked in acid, so the designs and brand names are removed. Third, the cans are crushed and melted in a furnace.
Paper Recycling
The recycling of paper is the process by which waste paper is turned into new paper products. It has a number of important benefits: It saves waste paper from occupying homes of people and producing methane as it breaks down.
Wood Recycling
Wood waste recycling is the process of turning waste wood into usable products. Products generated from scrap wood recycling are used in paper production, panel board production, wood pellets, energy production, and more.
Glass Recycling
Glass recycling, or glass reprocessing, is the process of turning waste glass back into usable products. This involves washing, crushing and melting used glass before moulding it back into bottles and jars. This cycle can be repeated endlessly with no loss in quality to the end product.
Fabric & Textile Recycling
Textile recycling is the process of recovering fiber, yarn, or fabric and reprocessing the material into new, useful products. Textile waste is split into pre-consumer and post-consumer waste and is sorted into five different categories derived from a pyramid model.
Food Waste Recycling
“Food recycling” refers to inedible food disposal methods like animal feeding, anaerobic digestion, and composting. Even when source reduction and donation are a success, there will be some food waste left over. Food recycling options include animal feeding, industrial uses, and composting.
Tyre & Rubber Recycling
The process of tyre recycling is the process of recycling of waste tyre that is no longer suitable for use on vehicles due to wear or irreparable damage. In the case of rubber recycling, the waste rubber can go through size reduction, and the resulting powders can be melt blended with thermoplastic resins to produce thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compounds.
Bricks & Inert Waste Recycling
Inert waste is waste which is neither chemically nor biologically reactive and will not decompose or only very slowly. Examples of this are sand, concrete, and demolition waste. This has particular relevance to landfills as inert waste typically requires lower disposal fees than biodegradable waste or hazardous waste.
Cardboard Recycling
Inert waste is waste which is neither chemically nor biologically reactive and will not decompose or only very slowly. Examples of this are sand, concrete, and demolition waste. This has particular relevance to landfills as inert waste typically requires lower disposal fees than biodegradable waste or hazardous waste.
Cigarette Waste (Butts) Recycling
The process of recycling the largest waste category in India is as follows: cigarettes butts are separated into three parts -Polymer, Leftover tobacco & paper, and fly ash. The polymer is used in the air purification system.
